Don’t Ask, it’s a Mystery!

I am so touched that one of my favorite bloggers, Dolly of KoolKosherKitchen, nominated me for the Mystery Blogger Award. Her blog is so awesome! Not only does she share her amazing recipes for all sorts of food, she includes wonderful stories/history (sometimes true, sometimes out of this world!) to go with her posts. I am always completely captivated by her posts, often laughing as I read them. And just a side note, I slipped one of her recipes to my partner to make (Sesame Chicken), and it was the most delicious sesame chicken I have ever had! Please take a moment to check out her blog and follow if you want  some spice in your life (the kind for cooking, and the kind for giggles!).

To Quote:

“The Mystery Blogger Award is an award for amazing bloggers with ingenious posts. Their blog not only captivates; it inspires and motivates. They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.”

The award was created by Okoto Enigma of Okoto Enigma’s Blog, so be sure to stop by her blog and see what someone so creative has to offer!

My Answers to Dolly’s Questions:

Q: Rain, snow or sunshine?
A: Snow 100%!

Q: Three words that define your life.
A: Compassion. Love. Imagination.

Q: Your favorite place (room, city, country, beach, forest, etc.)?
A: In the mountains on the back of a horse.

Q: Your favorite drink (doesn’t have to be alcoholic!)?
A: I have always loved Sprite, I wanted to be Coca Cola’s spokesperson when I was little.

Q: Your favorite type of music?
A: Very eclectic here. I love electronic, rock, instrumental; a little bit of everything.

Since I’m still fairly new to blogging, I haven’t quite embraced the award nomination process yet. Instead of listing blogs and all that jazz, I’m gonna leave it up to anyone who is interested in answering my 5 questions in the comments. I would like to invite anyone to participate! I would love to see your responses, so consider doing it for a holiday present for me.

Questions for you:

  1. If you could be an animal for a day, what would it be?
  2. What is a quote that is close to your heart?
  3. Would you rather explore the world or invent in a lab?
  4. What three books would you share with a new friend?
  5. Where would you like to visit that you haven’t been before?

If I haven’t convinced you to answer the questions yet, think of all the possible clicks from other readers to visit your blog. Captivate with your awesome answers! I hope you enjoy.

Thank you so much for accepting the award and for giving me such a high billing – humbling, to say the least! Love your answers, love your questions, but you know what we say in Florida to people who like snow: we’ll put you all on the same plane and ship you off to New York where you belong!

Lol, if you are gonna ship me to the snow, at least send me to the Rocky Mountains please! You deserve the praise, you are such an interesting person and your blog makes me feel like I’ve known you for so long with all you share. Enjoy that Florida sunshine. I will say something wonderful about Florida are those endless skies. I miss seeing those amazing clouds and sunsets. ;)

I wish I had made it to the Keys! I lived in Oviedo for 2 years while I attended school in Winter Park. Never made it that far south while we were there. I did get to swim with manatees in Crystal Springs, though. I managed to do a few things between studies!

Where did you see the sunset, in Orlando? That’s not a real sunset, it’s fake, like everything else in Orlando – stage set. Crystal Springs are fun, though!

Ahaha, valid point about Orlando! We spent a few sunsets at Orange Beach I think it was called? And the shark attack beach, New Smyrna (not sure of the spelling), the only beach my dog was allowed at, lol. I had an instructor that spent his free time photographing the skies of Florida though. They were just amazing.

Hey, I know the people in south Florida take their ocean and views very seriously! I’m not gonna question it, lol

That’s all we’ve got: ocean, views, and tourists – of course we take them seriously!
